✓ When to use
- Pre-drill coordination and planning
- Training plan development for an upcoming BA
- Mission readiness review or after-action work
- Unit administrative duties supporting readiness
- Command or staff work outside scheduled IDT periods
Use RMA for command, staff, or administrative duties that support unit readiness — pre-drill planning, training plan development, mission readiness reviews, and similar non-training work. One RMA per calendar day, four hours each, signed by your O/WO.
When you select RMA in the wizard, the tool fills these blocks automatically.
The wizard's "Duty description" field pulls from these defaults. Pick one; or write your own under "Other (specify)" if the duty doesn't fit.
