Normal IDT (UTA / MUTA / RST)

Use RST for a Unit Training Assembly, Multiple UTA, or Rescheduled Training — make-up for a Battle Assembly you missed. RST must be performed within 60 days of the missed BA, capped at 48 BAs per fiscal year inclusive of RSTs. Signed by your O/WO.

When to use

  • Make-up for a Battle Assembly you missed
  • Regular drill weekend you actually performed
  • Multi-period UTA (MUTA-4, MUTA-5) at HQ
  • Any paid IDT period under the 4-hour rule

When NOT to use

  • Admin / staff work outside drill use RMA
  • Medical or dental readiness use MDR
  • Online coursework use EBDL
  • Make-up beyond 60 days of missed BA §2-4b(1)(d)
  • Beyond 48 BAs per FY §2-4b(1)(d)

  • RST must be performed within 60 days of missed BA §2-4b(1)(d)
  • Maximum 2 periods per calendar day (8 hours)
  • Each period is 4 hours: P-1 (4 hr) or P-2 (8 hr)
  • Block 11 signed by your O/WO
